Not everyone wants to travel cross country or across the world. Some might love to see the photos of a friend’s trip to the Antarctic but would rather spend their vacation on a Spanish beach. Understandable; differences of opinion make people interesting.
Plenty of people say they’d like to write a book; most of them will give up without writing a single chapter. When you choose a book at the library or at your bookstore, you probably never wondered about the hundreds of steps it took to bring it into your hands.
Going from an idea nagging in your mind to a physical book (or ebook!) in your hands is an arduous journey for a writer. Here’s a few “postcards” from my travels thus far.
